School Supplies

  • One three-ring binder with dividers and pockets for core subjects

  • Marble (bound) Composition books for Social Studies 

  • Loose-leaf filler paper

  • Graph paper for Mathematics

  • Soft zippered pencil case that can be kept in the 3-ring binder No Boxes

  • Fraction Calculator (example: TI-34) Please mark the calculator permanently with your child's name

  • Plenty of #2 pencils and erasers

  • Red or purple ink pen or red correction pencils for checking and making corrections

  • Color Pencils for maps and other activities

  • Small, plastic hand-held pencil sharpener for sharpening the color pencils

  • Highlighters in 2 or 3 colors

  • Glue stick

  • Blue or black ink pens ONLY

  • Metric ruler, protractor, non-point compass, and safety scissors

  • Five book covers (Please do not purchase adhesive covers.)

  • Box of computer disk and disk holder

  • Book Bag: Book bags are not permitted in the classrooms. The book bag must fit in the locker. Rolling book bags do not fit. The locker dimensions are 28 cm deep, 22 cm wide and 86 cm high.

Supplies for home:

Dictionary, index cards, three-hole punch, stapler

What to bring the first day of school:

  • Lunch and a drink

  • Paper, pen, and pencil

  • A book/novel to read

  • Your bus route information and your bus number and/or the knowledge of how you will be getting home (bus/carpool/walker)
